March 2015 Hong Kong Maritime Museum “Made in Hong Kong: My City. My Stories.” Exhibition
Located at Central Pier No. 8, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum has organised a special large-scale exhibition titled “Made in Hong Kong: My City. My Stories.” Using exhibits, images, videos and sounds in conjunction with the latest technologies, the exhibition explored the history of Hong Kong from many perspectives as it evolved from a fishing village to a global trading hub.
With three major themed areas, “Changing Landscapes”, “Trade and Commerce” and “People’s Wall”, the exhibition tells the story of Hong Kong in a unique way. Of which, the giant structure at the Trade and Commerce area is divided into five different eras and showcase various products and goods that have promoted economic development in Hong Kong. Founded in 1986, Li Chung Shing Tong Po Chai Pills® is a classic Hong Kong brand with a plant in the city since the 20th century. The company was invited by the organiser to provide exhibits and images that reflect the prosperous development of Hong Kong.
The exhibition will run from 9 March 2015 to 4 September 2015 and admission is free for public.
